Alright, eventhough i had six hours of sleep last night, which i duh-uh not enough, and iapos;m gonna have less than six hours to sleep tonight [alone], thatapos;s not gonna stop me from blogging about today.

today was fun fun fun, purely fun. I sacrificed my sleep just to attend a m.a.c cosmetic sale [note: 70 reduction] at NUS in the crazy hour of the morning. And it was only 10 when we reached the arts forum, and voila thereapos;s a freaking long queue what the hell are those people who were supposed to be studying their ass off in school so free doing this nonsense? bullshit.

and being girls, which i canapos;t blame them, when they saw cosmetics like such, their world only revolves around it and all they can see is the make up and nothing else. Not even human, because i was standing at one of the booth and the place was kind of squeezy i would say, she could just rempuh me down and sliding her way in between me and the table, and the worst thing, she doesnapos;t even look at me. She was staring at the lipgloss in front of her instead. Hello, am i invisible? bengap betul.

and the funny part was, while queuing to get in, me and ain were whinning about how sucky they managed this event. We gave some inputs like customers should get only fifteen minutes to spend in there, one batch should go out and the next batch would come in. But when weapos;re inside, weapos;re thinking about how bitchy we sound like because we spend like about an

The Joker was not in a good mood. The stitches in his stomach were annoying him, he had a head ache, and chances were, he and Eddie had lost their little hideout in the carnival. He was almost positive it had been Two Face that called the cops and was tempted to stop by the manapos;s apartment, but that could wait. First things first, he had a new District Attorney, freshly elected, to murder.

Slipping into the building wasnapos;t all that difficult at this time of night. He was slightly worried that the D.A. Wouldapos;ve gone home by now, thankfully that wasnapos;t the case. Poor guy mustapos;ve thought the Joker just had it out for attorneys, what with with "death" of Harvey Dent.

"Nah. This is, well, itapos;s more of symbolic thing, yanno? Nothing personal, you just uh, made a bad career move," heapos;d chuckled to the man. He made a show of sorting through the pens in a cup on his desk, choosing a basic black ballpoint and ripping the cap off with his teeth. Heapos;d stabbed it quickly into the manapos;s chest, in the general area of his heart. As an afterthought, he carved his signature grin into the manapos;s face before slipping off, leaving the building as quietly as heapos;d entered.

Boo. I put in new contact lenses yesterday. Last night when taking them out, i tore one of them in half. Boo.

monologue showcase last night went okay. Got laughs etc. But.
of course there has to be one person that this happens to (stumbling, falling, etc) and of course it has to be me. Ihave a moment in the monologue where Iapos;ve got my foot up on the chair and then Ihurriedly put it down and sit in the chair. never been a problem before. But during the performance, the heel of my shoe caught on the edge of the chair and started to tip it over and Iknew if I tried to sit it would be disaster city, so I sort of rushed forward and fell on my knees, hands clasped. Luckily, this is a monologue where Iapos;m talking to a priest so it was a good pose and everyone cracked up like crazy (and only then did Irealize, hey this works much better than my original blockign anyway).

so that was fun.

ps Jericho is a really good show. Iapos;m just sayinapos;

Horatio slowly opened his eyes. They revealed a host of men wearing strange tattoos and clothes.
 "Ah"he cried. "Cannibals"
The natives made no reply. Instead, they cried, "Chief, chief......."
"Oh, so Iapos;m your....what, chief?"asked Horatio, and the natives nodded. Some of them showed him a piece of wood with a drawing of a man sitting in a chair, which resembled the chair Horatio was now sitting on. "Thatapos;s me," he said, grinning. The natives urged him to continue. His grin vanished as he saw the next picture: the chief carried to an altar. The next picture showed a blade in the chest of the chief.
 "Uh-oh....." he said.

1) Who was your first kiss?

Mike. *sigh of annoyance*

2) Who is the last person you kissed?

Tim. *sigh of longing*

3) What is the story of your most romantic kiss?

The most romantic? I haven#39;t done that much kissing. But this one definitely stands out in my mind:

Tim took me along to meet some friends of his. We were sitting on the couch in the middle of the room-- which was crowded-- and everyone was talking to each other and us. There was a lot going on in the room... And somehow (because I can#39;t remember, but he must have started it because I am not one to kiss in public) Tim and I were kissing. Just closed-mouth pecks... But the room and everyone in it had completely melted away, and I was completely lost in him-- and I felt like he was too. It was like he and I were in our own little bubble away from the music and the talking and the jokes... It was the best feeling in the world, and I can#39;t even describe it... Until one of his friends abruptly brought us back to Earth, to my humiliation... Because it#39;s extremely rude to ignore your friends in favor of making out with your girlfriend, and to be the anti-social girlfriend making out with him.

4) What is the story of your worst kiss?

...I#39;d rather pretend that one didn#39;t happen. But there have been many not-so-perfect kisses that I can share.

a) the first time I kissed Mike. I missed his mouth. Then, I was so embarrassed, I started hyperventilating.
b) the first time Tim kissed me. I drove him home after our first "official" date, and after I parked the car before he got out, he kissed me too eagerly, too sloppily, and it was extremely awkward. After he got out of the car I wiped my mouth off on my arm and drove home shaking my head. He later very quickly learned how I like to be kissed, and became perfect at it (and other things).
c) Tim and I were kissing very soon after we were eating, and I think I burped a little. I almost died, but he didn#39;t say anything, so I#39;m hoping he didn#39;t notice.

5) Who do you want to kiss right now?

I miss Tim so much right now...

Okay, this has gone beyond my meager capabilities. I have a video clip, itapos;s a .vob file. I have VLC player. I want to take a portion of the .vob clib and rip the song so I have an .mp3 of it. Follow me?

I have searched high and low and have used all sorts of tips Iapos;ve found, but I just get an "access" file that is almost a gig, the size of the .vob file.

I have the time stamps and the chapter info (chpt 9, time 0:57:02 to 0:58:29) but I canapos;t get the song to rip. Can anyone help a sistah out? Should I just not use VLC then? Help me flist, youapos;re my only hope.

And in keeping with the theme: dammit, mom, Iapos;ve got my headgear on

I have decided to make entries such as this, from this point forward (hopefully) on dispelling
AAAmerican myths.
I will be your myth-buster if you will.

At the top of each list shall be "simply" Fear.
We donapos;t like "fear" So much so, lets just keep it lower case.

As i was sharing with some male folks around town, about going to Vegas next on my journey, they told said "do you carry a firearm?" They said really, if youapos;re going to Vegas, you should really go out and get a gun. Hmm I said, pretending to have an interest in this, "how much would it cost me?"
One of them said about $150. I said, well I maybe have $300 to get back to LA with. THEN, i wonapos;t have much $$ when i get back to LA. Or was it a taser, they said was that much. I canapos;t remember. Then they said, carry mace.
Ok. I re-assured them.
Going through my mind at this point is just to think. Geez, i made it all the way through Arizona with my Tibetan mala. Surely this will do. I am not a pacifist.. Or whatever. I donapos;t subscribe to any one association of thought. Each situation in life, i feel can be handled in a completely different manner. From one happening to the next...everything requires my assessment and discernment for the situation on hand FOR THAT SPECIFIC EVENT only
In saying all this what i mean is, if it ever comes down to it, i am sure calling on Jesus or Lord Michael or Tara will be quite enough. I am not afraid to tell someone that "The Seal of the Lord is Upon me NOW" and the sheer power of them knowing that i feel protected by divine sources, is sure to send someone running. THEY know full well what theyapos;re doing is "ill".
What good does it do to have a gun, if you canapos;t use it? Do you really think you can use it under law, if youapos;re defending yourself. Even if you are --well, you just killed someone. Then youapos;re doing yourself in with mental trauma, the rest of your life.
So hereapos;s a top 10 and their equivalent positive/opposing poles.
1) fear 1) love
2) no place to stay/sleep 2) Earth and Couchsurfing.com (for most large cities in the world.)
3) nothing to eat 3) Weeds, Roots, Leaves, Fruit-bearing trees, Soup Kitchens, Dumpsters,
Leftovers, Tell someone what you need, usually you will get it.
4) no jobs 4) make your own

Today i saw a ring on a (next to homeless) manapos;s finger. He said, i just bought this ring from the 7yr old girl over there, who made it. Fuck yeah Even homeless people will buy stuff occasionally.

5) bears, wolves, dogs 5) teddy bears, donapos;t store your food in yr tent, and just throw a stick,
or walk extremely slow.

6) no way to get home 6) lie down on the side of the road...someone will pick you up
homeless shelters and
police stations can sometimes get you a half-price ticket.
Walk or ride a bicycle and enjoy the scenery

7) people are greedy 7) mostly in the eastern states, and in cities YES. Otherwise stay positive
in your thinking until you find someone to help you.

8) It doesnapos;t matter
who wins the election 8) I am not even registered to vote. At this point, all i feel i can
do is live in my microcosim, and keep smiling, and promote
meditation and peace. (Over all the "real-world" doesnapos;t even work
for me any more.)
9) Someone is going to rape,
rob or steal from you... 9) Yeah, well if you say that again, I am going to have to
stop speaking to you and walk away, since you just
planted a negative thought bomb in my aura.
Now that youapos;ve said it...thereapos;s a greater chance of it happening.

10) Careers are good for you. 10) Did you ever watch that American film "American Beauty"?
Having fun and working at a community market,
might just be a better route.
